We have some good news to share for fans of “Hard Knocks” the NFL training camp series.

For those of you unfamiliar with the show, it’s a joint production from HBO and NFL Films that follows one team each training camp with episodes airing each week leading up to the season. Last season, the Raiders were featured on the show following Jon Gruden’s return to the franchise.

The show is incredibly well made and gives inside access unlike any other show out there on the team it focuses on each year. However, looking ahead to the 2020 season, the show is planning to feature two teams leading up to the season according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Schefter is reporting that both Los Angeles franchises, the Rams and the Chargers, will be the focal point of the series this year. Provided, of course, that the NFL has a training camp and that they aren’t canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Rams and the Chargers are set to play in the brand new SoFi Stadium next season as construction on the stadium is currently underway and projected to be completed leading up to the 2020 NFL season.

While the current layoff from sports has been brutal thus far, it is looking more and more like we’ll have a jam-packed fall of sports to enjoy in the months to come.
