The 2022 NFL Draft will be here before we know it, and once again, a number of SEC stars should hear their names called in Round 1.

This week, CBS Sports analyst Ryan Wilson put together his latest Round 1 mock draft, and he included 13 SEC standouts.

As you can see below, Texas A&M leads the way with 4 guys going in the first round, followed by Alabama with 3, and Ole Miss, LSU, Florida, South Carolina, Georgia and Arkansas having 1 player selected each:

  • No. 3 — Evan Neal, OL, Alabama — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 4 — Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU — New York Jets
  • No. 5 — Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M — New York Giants
  • No. 6 — DeMarvin Leal, DL, Texas A&M — Cincinnati Bengals
  • No. 7 — Kaiir Elam, DB, Florida — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 13 — Kingsley Enagbare, Edge, South Carolina — Minnesota Vikings
  • No. 14 — Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss — Denver Broncos
  • No. 15 — Christian Harris, LB, Alabama — New England Patriots
  • No. 19 — Jalen Wydermyer, TE, Texas A&M — Philadelphia Eagles

  • No. 22 — Isaiah Spiller, RB, Texas A&M — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 27 — Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas — Green Bay Packers
  • No. 31 — Jordan Battle, DB, Alabama — Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Who will continue to impress as the 2021 season wears on? Who will test well at the NFL Combine? Those are all questions we’ll have answers to soon enough.
