The SEC announced this week that it had a new tie with the Las Vegas Bowl and will send teams to the desert following the 2020, 2022 and 2024 seasons to take on a Pac-12 squad.

The Las Vegas stadium, though, has yet to be completed. It is where the now-Oakland Raiders will play starting in 2020, but construction hasn’t been finished.

On Tuesday, artist renderings were released, showing what the stadium will look like. As you can see below, it looks pretty cool:

Having a dome in the desert is a must, so at least the games played there will be climate controlled. During bowl season in December, though, the weather in Las Vegas would probably be pretty nice.

Which SEC team will be the first to visit Nevada for the Las Vegas Bowl? We’ll find out after the 2020 season.
