CBS announced that its weekly “SEC on CBS” game, which featured the conference’s marquee matchup, was the highest-rated college football regular season package for an eighth consecutive year.

According to the Nielsen ratings, the program earned an average national household rating/share of 3.4/8. CBS also reported that an average of 5.7 million viewers tuned in to watch the afternoon broadcast.
