Less than two months remain before the 2015 college football season kicks off, and momentum is building as the fall quickly approaches. With fans preparing to throw on their jerseys and head out to the stadium, it’s never too early to take a look at which teams are dominating the secondary market in terms of ticket prices. Being on hand to scream “Roll Tide!” this season may be a bank breaker, however, as Alabama will appear in four of this year’s five top-priced games in the SEC.

Perhaps most interesting is that three of the four top games Alabama will play in come on the road. The Crimson Tide’s expansive fan base, pooled with the school’s consistent on-field play, is driving prices for many of the team’s away games. ‘Bama won’t be the only SEC juggernaut garnering big ticket prices – Georgia, Auburn, Florida, Texas A&M and LSU also make this year’s top game list. Check out the full breakdown below:

10/3 – Alabama at Georgia – Sanford Stadium | Avg. Price: $564.36 | Get-in: $270

The Georgia Bulldogs will welcome Alabama to Sanford Stadium in the most expensive game of the season on October 3. According to TiqIQ, the average secondary price for Georgia vs Alabama tickets is $564.36. Fans just hoping to get past the gates will find the current cheapest ticket listed for $270.

Georgia will be looking to improve on its 10-3 record from last season and will face formidable competition in Alabama early in the season. The Bulldogs are early favorites to take the SEC title under rising sophomore running back Nick Chubb but have several kinks to work out in their aerial pursuit. However, Alabama’s secondary is a work-in-progress and serves as one of the team’s few flaws. The Week 5 game has potential to be a high-scoring affair should both offenses show up.

11/28 – Alabama at Auburn – Jordan-Hare Stadium | Avg. Price: $489.99 | Get-in: $241

The Crimson Tide will again wear white when they take on Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium on November 28. The annual Iron Bowl makes the SEC rivalry currently the second most expensive conference game of the season. Auburn vs Alabama tickets own a secondary average of $489.99 and the get-in price starts at $241.

The Tigers had a rather forgettable season in 2014, compiling a 8-5 record and going just 4-4 in SEC games. They ended their season in heartbreaking fashion against the Wisconsin Badgers in the Outback Bowl, watching an overtime field goal split the uprights in a 31-34 loss. Auburn lost to Alabama in shootout fashion in Tuscaloosa late last season, falling to the Tide 55-44.

10/31 – Georgia vs Florida – EverBank Field | Avg. Price: $475.12 | Get-in: $110

Georgia takes on Florida at EverBank Field in the third most expensive of the season on October 31. The average secondary price for Florida vs Georgia tickets is $475.12 and get-in price is $110 on the secondary market. The first and only top-priced game not to feature Alabama, it will also be the only game of the five held at an NFL venue.

Known as “The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party,” the rivalry between Georgia and Florida dates back to 1915. The Gators won last year’s affair by a final score of 38-20, claiming their first win in the annual matchup since 2010. Last year’s game owned a secondary ticket average of $374.56 in July, which marks a 26.8% jump in year-over-year pricing.

10/17 – Alabama at Texas A&M | Kyle Field | Avg. Price: $414.04 | Get-in: $149

Texas A&M would like to forget last year’s bout with Alabama. Coming off of two straight losses to Mississippi State and Ole Miss, the Aggies stumbled into Tuscaloosa and were better calling out sick after suffering a 59-0 blowout. This year Alabama will head to Kyle Field in what will be the fourth most expensive game of the season.

Texas A&M vs Alabama tickets currently average $414.04 and the cheapest available ticket is listed for $149. The Aggies last welcomed the Crimson Tide to College Station in 2013, where Alabama came away with a nail-biting 49-42 victory.

11/7 – LSU at Alabama | Bryant-Denny Stadium | Avg. Price: $389.70 | Get-in: $205

Rounding out this season’s top five most expensive games is a battle between LSU and Alabama at Bryant-Denny Stadium on November 7. The Week 10 game has a secondary ticket average of $389.70 and the get-in price is $205. That is a drastically different price from last year’s home opener against the Florida Atlantic Owls, when tickets averaged at just $45.

There’s no question that Alabama is chocked full of talent, but LSU is one of the few teams that will likely keep things interesting for the Crimson Tide on their home turf this season. The Tigers took last season’s game with Alabama into overtime at Tiger Stadium and will look to come away with a victory in Tuscaloosa come November.
