University of Alabama junior wide receiver Amari Cooper was named a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award on Monday morning.

Cooper, who on Saturday became just the fifth player in Southeastern Conference history to top 3,000 career receiving yards, might have the best chance of any Crimson Tide player of winning a national individual award this season.

However, he was the only SEC player to be on the list of 10 semifinalists.

Nelson Agholor, Southern California, Jr.
Amari Cooper, Alabama, Sr.
Rashad Greene, Florida State, Sr.
Rashard Higgins, Colorado State, So.
Tyler Lockett, Kansas State, Sr.
Vince Mayle, Washington State, RSr.
Sterling Shepard, Oklahoma, Jr.
Nelson Spruce, Colorado, Jr.
