Two weeks after breaking his arm, Kenyan Drake could be playing in Saturday’s Iron Bowl.

Alabama’s senior running back has been practicing with the team, and could be cleared to play on Saturday.

The senior from Powder Springs, Ga. broke his arm making a tackle on a kickoff return during the second quarter of the Crimson Tide’s 31-6 win over Mississippi State on Nov. 14.

“We’re doing a little bit more with him every day and he’s certainly anxious to get back out there,” Alabama head coach Nick Saban told al.com. “I don’t know if he’s done enough in practice. I always ask the player when we get to the game. If he thinks he’s capable of doing his job well, I’ll certainly have that conversation with him (sometime) between now and then.”

Drake has rushed for 333 yards and one touchdown while backing up Heisman Trophy contender Derrick Henry this season. He has also caught 21 passes for 234 yards and one score.

Saban also said that cornerback Minkah Fitzpatrick and offensive lineman Dominick Jackson will play on Saturday.

No. 2 Alabama (10-1) travels to Auburn (6-5) on Saturday for this year’s Iron Bowl. The game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
