Former Alabama RB Eddie Lacy’s weight was the subject of many unpleasant discussions for the Green Bay Packers during the 2015 season.

The Packers RB was so heavy by the end of the season that Coach Mike McCarthy made it publicly known that Lacy needed to report to camp in 2016 in much better shape.

Thanks to some help from the founder of popular workout system P90X, Lacy’s weight is now a happy topic among the Packers just a few months later.

According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, Lacy looked so good upon arrival at Lambeau Field on Monday that Packers WR Jordy Nelson couldn’t even poke fun at his teammate:

“I was going to crack a joke, but I won’t. He looked good,” Nelson said Monday. “We’re glad to have everyone back, get ready to work. That will be for him to answer. I didn’t ask him how much he weighed or his percent body fat or how fast he ran.”

Packers All-Pro QB Aaron Rodgers chimed in as well:

“He looked like Eddie,” Rodgers said. “He looked good. Obviously, he’s been doing a lot of P90X. … He’s a solid football player and a big contributor for us, so he’s going to make sure he’s taking care of himself the right way. He’s got an infectious personality that everybody enjoys, enjoys seeing that big smile across the locker room, so we’re glad he’s our player.”

Lacy was photographed during an appearance at Alabama’s A-Day spring game alongside fellow former Crimson Tide running backs Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson and Derrick Henry.
