Charles Baldwin, the top JUCO offensive tackle from the 2016 recruiting class that was dismissed from Alabama’s football program nearly two weeks ago, is actively pursuing his next landing spot.

According to a report from 247Sports, Baldwin visited Temple last week and recently took a trip to see Louisville this past Tuesday. The former four-star recruit was ranked as the No. 2 overall player from the junior college ranks.

Baldwin would have to sit out a year if he transfers to a Division I program, and would have two years of eligibility come next fall.

On May 12, coach Nick Saban said Baldwin was dismissed from the program “for a violation of team rules.”
