Trevon Diggs, a four-star recruit from The Avalon School in Rockville, Md., committed to Alabama on Saturday afternoon.

Diggs announced his commitment after his high school game on Saturday.

The 6-foot, 183-pound Diggs is rated the No. 6 wide receiver in the country by ESPN and the No. 21 receiver by rivals.com. Last year, as a junior, he caught 78 passes for 1,008 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Diggs also had offers from LSU, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida State, Clemson and Auburn, among others.

Diggs is the brother of Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs, a former Maryland star.
