Former Alabama running back Eddie Lacy looked slimmer during his first day of training camp with the Green Bay Packers Tuesday, as several media members pointed out on Twitter.

Lacy’s weight has been a concern for Packers fans this offseason after he showed up to last year’s minicamp noticeably heavier and went on to record a career-worst 758 yards and three touchdowns on 187 attempts in 2015. But after spending the offseason doing intensive training with personal trainer and P90X creator Tony Horton, the former Pro Bowler has earned the approval of head coach Mike McCarthy.

“Eddie is ready,” McCarthy said, via Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “I’m done talking about people’s weight. I felt like I gave an honest answer.”

It looks like the workouts are paying off for the former All-SEC back.

For comparison, here’s a photo of Lacy last season.
