AL.com Alabama beat writer Michael Casagrande used the open media availability of the national championship and the Senior Bowl to gain access to members of the 2015 Crimson Tide squad for some unconventional lines of questioning.

The results, which he has released during a series of articles over the last few days, have been entertaining.

In his latest article, Casagrande asked several players to name the hardest hitting, fastest and smartest player on the national championship team.

Here is a look at the results of his unofficial poll:

Biggest hitter: Eight of the 10 players that Casagrande polled said that MLB Reuben Foster was the hardest hitter on the team. Only Cooper Bateman, who said Ryan Anderson, and A’Shawn Robinson, who took up for the defensive line, offered a differing opinion.

Faster player: This was another category that seemed to have a pretty good consensus. Nine of 11 players asked said that CB Bradley Sylve is the fastest man on the team. Considering he won the state championship in the 100 and 200-meter in Louisiana, that’s probably a safe choice.

Smartest guy on the team: C Ryan Kelly was mentioned by seven of the 10 players that Casagrande polled. That was good enough to consider him the winner of this make-believe superlative.

If you want to read more about these polls, Casagrande has the quotes from each player as they answered his questions. Most are brief, but some are humorous.
