Alabama took care of Texas A&M on Saturday in Tuscaloosa, but the 33-14 victory came at a hefty price in the secondary.

Eddie Jackson, a standout safety and special-teams extraordinaire, will miss the rest of the season due to a broken leg. He was the senior leader of a defensive backfield that started three sophomores alongside him.

The Crimson Tide are arguably the most physical team in the country, yet they have been relatively injury-free so far this year. Jackson’s absence will be felt, no question about it. In addition to his big-play ability on defense, he’s one of only two players nationally to score more than one touchdown in 2016 as a punt returner.

Be sure to watch the video above for some quick commentary discussing the Jackson injury and where ‘Bama goes from here.
