Huge '16 OT selects Arkansas ahead of Texas, Oregon and others
A coveted 6-foot-7 offensive tackle committed to Arkansas on Sunday ahead of a host of respected programs.
Kellen Diesch (Trophy Club, Texas) visited Fayetteville, Ark., at least three times, attending one game in the fall, watching this year’s spring game and returning March 7.

Diesch held more than 20 offers from schools like Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee, Baylor and Oklahoma State.
Rated as a three-star player by the 247Sports composite rankings, Diesch weighs “just” 270 pounds, and will need to add some weight if he wants to become part of the Hogs’ offensive line, which is legendarily huge. But he has run a hand-timed 4.87-second 40-yard dash, according to WholeHogSports.com.
Arkansas now has seven commitments for the 2016 class and ranks 12th in the SEC.
