Another season ends with Arkansas losing its running backs coach to the NFL.

It only took one season in Fayetteville for Jemal Singleton to get an NFL offer. According to Sports Illustrated, Singleton will join the Indianapolis Colts in the same capacity.

This past season was Singleton’s first with the Razorbacks after coming over from Oklahoma State.

Now, the Hogs will have to hire their third running backs coach in as many seasons. Prior to Singleton, Joel Thomas left Fayetteville to become the New Orleans Saints running backs coach.

Arkansas finished 4th in the SEC in rushing this past season, averaging 197.3 yards per game. Meanwhile, Alex Collins averaged 121.3 yards per game, 12th-best in the FBS, while totaling 1,577 yards. His 20 rushing touchdowns were tied for 6th-best in the country.

The Colts were 29th in the NFL in rushing this season, averaging just 89.9 yards on the ground.
