Arkansas not only enjoyed a successful day on Saturday, but the football program shined again a day later with several notable performance in the NFL’s Week 2 games.

Here are some of the more notable performance from former Hogs.

  • Knile Davis – 22 attempts, 79 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Knile Davis faced a tough challenge going against the Denver Broncos after Jamaal Charles exited the game with an injury. Yardage wise, Davis didn’t put up huge numbers with only 79 rushing yards, but the former Hog punched the ball in for two scores. He’ll be the Chiefs’ primary back as long as Charles remains out with his ankle injury.
  • Darren McFadden – 14 touches, 68 yards and one touchdown. It was a slow day for the Oakland offense as nearly everyone struggled. McFadden still put up nearly 70 yards and one touchdown, but he’ll need to do much more for the Raiders if they want to compete for a playoff spot this season.

Other Hogs in the NFL:

  • Ryan Mallet – backup quarterback for Houston Texans
  • Alvin Bailey – on 53-man roster for Seattle Seahawks
  • Chris Gragg – one reception for 14 yards in Buffalo’s 29-10 win over Miami
  • George Wilson – Tennessee Titans safety recorded two tackles against Cowboys
  • Jason Peters – Offensive tackle will play tonight against Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football
