The Arkansas Razorbacks picked up a commitment from elite defensive tackle Austin Capps, according to 247Sports.

Capps was on campus this past weekend for Junior Day, and he made things official with his commitment Monday morning. Capps chose the Hogs over a number of schools in which he held offers, including Ole Miss and Mississippi State.

247Sports’ Composite Rankings say Capps is the state of Arkansas’ No. 2 overall player and a four-star defensive tackle prospect. The Star City native is listed at 6-4, 307 pounds.

Capps is the Razorbacks’ second commitment in the 2016 recruiting class.
