Auburn's defensive backs say blondes have more fun

Tigers beat writer Brandon Marcello of AL.com was the first to notice the players’ interesting new hair enhancements during fall camp, a crafted decision that has brought cornerbacks and safeties together sharing a similar blonde, ahem, bond.
“Now we’re all brothers and when one of us do it, we’re all going to stick together,” safety Rudy Ford said, according to AL.com. “It’s a nice little trend for us.”
Auburn’s defense tied for the SEC lead with 22 interceptions last season, most coming from defensive backs, but the Tigers’ secondary struggled as a unit yielding 230.1 yard per game.
Perhaps a little bleach will do the trick this fall.
Will Muschamp thinks it could help.
“I really think the two closest knit groups on your team need to be the offensive line and your secondary, because if they break down there, the other band is playing,” Muschamp told AL.com. “We need those guys to be very close, especially our seniors.”
