Auburn remained No. 5 in the first Amway Coaches’ Poll of the 2014 season after their 45-21 victory Saturday against Arkansas. A total of eight SEC teams are ranked.

The four teams ahead of Auburn didn’t change: Florida State No.1, Alabama No. 2, Oklahoma No. 3 and No. 4 Oregon.

Ohio State, who lost starting quarterback Braxton Miller for the season, fell from No. 6 to 7 after they struggled against Navy. The Buckeyes needed two fourth quarter touchdowns to get past the Midshipmen in Baltimore, 34-17,  Fellow Big Ten team Michigan State leapfrogged the Buckeyes. Ohio State was ranked one spot head of Auburn, at No. 5, in the preseason AP Poll.

Georgia, with their 45-21 win over Clemson, moved up to No. 8 from No. 12. Texas A&M made the biggest leap of any school, moving up from No, 20 to No. 13 after a shocking 52-point performance against South Carolina Thursday night. The Gamecocks fell from No. 9 to No. 21.

The Associated Press Poll is scheduled to be released at 2 p.m. eastern time.
