Auburn’s senior center Reese Dismukes is wearing a No.43 pin today at SEC Media Days in Birmingham to honor late Philip Lutzenkirchen. Dismukes posted an instagram photo via his twitter account earlier this morning.

The 23-year old Lutzenkirchen was one of two people that died in a one-vehicle accident on June 29 in LaGrange, Georgia. Lutzenkirchen was sitting in the back seat of the car and not wearing a seat beat.

Considered one of the most beloved players in Auburn history, Lutzenkirchen ended his career as one of the most prolific tight ends in the program’s history, ranking first for touchdowns (14), second for receptions (50) and third in receiving yards (628).
