The Peach Bowl patch is a nice addition to Auburn’s blue uniform.

The Tigers truly had a special season this year and entered December with legitimate championship aspirations. Unfortunately, a letdown in the SEC Championship Game against Georgia ended those hopes.

Injured RB Kerryon Johnson was limited throughout the contest, and QB Jarrett Stidham was unable to keep the offense rolling after looking unstoppable over the last month of the season.

While a national championship is no longer a possibility, the Tigers still have a chance to knock off an undefeated team. Auburn will take on No. 10 UCF in Atlanta for what should be an exciting game. Fans will continue to hope that Johsnon will be available for the game while the Tigers defense must prepare for a high-powered offense.

Kickoff is still a few weeks away, but Auburn’s equipment staff is hard at work getting the uniforms ready for the game. Auburn Equipment tweeted out a look at the blue jerseys with a new Peach Bowl patch attached to it, and it looks awesome.

Kickoff for the game is set for 12:30 pm EST New Year’s Day on ESPN.
