Two weeks away from their season opener against Auburn in Arlington, Texas, the Oregon Ducks saw a key contributor go down with a shoulder injury in practice on Saturday.

Mycah Pittman, expected to be in the rotation, may miss some time as the extent of the injury was unknown, coach Mario Cristobal said.

“Mycah Pittman did lay out for a ball and landed on his shoulder. He’s getting evaluated. Landed on it pretty good.” Cristobal said, according to Duck Territory. “As soon as we finish the evaluation, we’ll get that information to you whether it’s significant or not.”

Pittman was already turning heads following the foot injury to senior WR Brendan Schooler. The Ducks were reportedly looking for Pittman to fill the void left by Schooler’s absence. Two other freshmen receivers have also suffered injuries, so that leaves the Ducks with five healthy receivers in the remaining days of fall camp.

The Ducks are set to kickoff with Auburn at 7:30 p.m. ET on Aug. 31 on ABC.
