Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch can keep his skittles, as far as Sammie Coates is concerned.

The former Auburn receiver got a giant stash of peanut butter cups shipped to him after his agent reached out to Hershey’s.

For those counting at home, that’s 10 large boxes of Reese’s.

Coates, a likely second-day pick in the upcoming NFL draft, has worked hard to put himself in position to earn millions. Auburn’s pro day is last week, so ostensibly the receiver could eat all 10 boxes this week and no one would ever find out.

If he succeeds in the NFL, perhaps Coates can get an endorsement deal with the candy brand, much like Lynch. He isn’t the first athlete to be associated with an obsessive sweet tooth. Former Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom had a voracious appetite for candy. NBA star center Dwight Howard is more or less a sugar addict.

Upcoming Baltimore Orioles pitcher Kevin Gausman used to eat a powdered doughnut in the dugout between every inning.

Coates may have arrived at Reese’s subliminally, having recently participated in the Reese’s Senior Bowl and going through the pre-draft process with former teammate Reese Dismukes.
