Wisconsin RB Melvin Gordon held out of Sunday practice

Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon did not practice on Sunday, according to multiple reports by Badgers beat reporters.

Melvin Gordon did not practice today due to an illness.

Gordon, a Heisman finalist, has rushed for 2,336 yards and 26 touchdowns this season. The junior has already announced his intentions to declare for the 2015 NFL Draft.

The Kenosha, Wis., native is expected to play on Thursday against Auburn.
