Joel Hunt

Hunt spent just one season as the head coach at Georgia, going 5-4-1. He previously was an assistant as LSU and Texas A&M.

Hunt spent seven seasons as an assistant at Texas A&M and LSU before being hired to lead the Georgia program. He spent just one season in Athens.

Hunt was a surprise choice to replace Harry Mehre. He went 5-4-1 in 1938 and left after the season to take over at Wyoming.
