Associate Head Coach, Defensive Line, Tennessee Volunteers

Steve Stripling is Tennessee’s associate head coach and defensive line extraordinaire.

The current staff’s most veteran assistant, Stripling has more than 30 years of experience as a player and coach. Must of his career was spent in the Big Ten Conference during stints at Indiana (1984-96), Minnesota (1997-00), Michigan State (2003-04) and Michigan (2005-07). Stripling also worked as Butch Jones’ associate head coach at previous stops Central Michigan and Cincinnati with an emphasis along the defensive line.
