it's not all *that* special. Johnny made a living doing this: line up in 5 wide, see man coverage, run up the gut with all the defenders in man (and their backs to the QB). it was a great play but I don't know how "BRILLIANT" it was. at the end of the day it probably wasn't much more than a "dual-threat quarterback’s athleticism"...
