It’s been a great couple of months for the Florida Gators.

Not only are the Gators sitting 5-0 and ranked just outside the top 10, but the Gators’ recruiting is really starting to pick up, too.

Four-star wide receiver Freddie Swain committed to the Gators Friday over Tennessee, USC and others. The 6-foot-1, 188-pound pass catcher is one of the best the country has to offer at the position, and he really jumps out on film.

The Citra, Fl., product may not have the biggest measurables or the highest upside of any player in the country, but he’s one of the safest takes of the entire class. He catches everything thrown his direction, and he could turn into one of the best route runners in college football.

Swain is rated as the country’s No. 29 wide receiver and the No. 165 overall player, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings, and he became the Gators’ 21st commitment for the class of 2016.
