Florida has updated its two-deep in prep for Saturday’s opener against New Mexico State and to no one’s surprise, the quarterback spot remains unsolved.

Redshirt sophomore Will Grier and Treon Harris will split duty under center and Jim McElwain hasn’t yet stated who he’ll send out with the first-teamers on the opening possession.

Senior linebacker Antonio Morrison, limited throughout fall camp after multiple offseason knee surgeries, is listed as the Gators’ starter at middle linebacker, between Jarrad Davis and Alex Anzalone on his right and left.

Nick Washington will start at safety due to Marcus Maye’s suspension. Maye is one of three Gators sidelined for the opener due to disciplinary reasons.

Five-star freshman Cece Jefferson will play behind senior defensive end Jonathan Bullard.
