2014 Arkansas vs Missouri

Missouri claimed back-to-back SEC East championships with a 21-14 win against Arkansas on Saturday.

At one time trailing 14-3, with only a 52-yard field goal to its credit, the Tigers strung together fourth-quarter touchdown drives of 98 and 85 yards.

Arkansas hadn’t allowed a point in 148 minutes and 28 seconds when Andrew Baggett drilled the field goal early in the second quarter, and then he added a 50-yard try to get Missouri within 14-6 at halftime.

The Tigers defense shut down quarterback Brandon Allen and the Razorbacks for the final 37:15. Then quarterback Maty Mauk tag-teamed the Hogs with receivers Bud Sasser and Jimmie Hunt for one touchdown, and running backs Marcus Murphy and Russell Hansbrough tore through the Razorbacks on another.

The Razorbacks drove inside the Tigers 40-yard line on a potential game-tying touchdown late in the fourth quarter, but Alex Collins fumbled and Markus Golden recovered.
