2014 LSU vs Auburn

The No. 17 LSU Tigers (4-1) travel to Auburn, AL., for their annual matchup against No. 5 Auburn (4-0). LSU looks to continue momentum after a 63-7 win over New Mexico State on Saturday. Auburn is coming off a 45-17 win over Louisiana Tech.

Auburn wanted to join Mississippi State as an SEC West team making a statement on the first Saturday of October, and it did just that. Behind 326 all-purpose yards from Nick Marshall, Auburn ran away with the game early jumping out to a 31-7 first half lead, leaving LSU with no chance after intermission.

The defense was stout all night behind Cassanova McKinzy’s six tackles and a strong push up front all night leaving true freshman LSU starter Brandon Harris with little time to make decisions.

Auburn moves to 5-0 and next travels to Starkville, Miss. for a huge showdown with Mississippi State.
