2014 South Carolina vs Vanderbilt

The South Carolina Gamecocks defeated the Vanderbilt Commodores 48-34 in Week 4 of the 2014 season. The Gamecocks held a 449-379 advantage in total yards.

Dylan Thompson threw for 237 yards and three touchdowns on 22-of-34 passing. South Carolina running backs combined for 212 yards and two touchdowns on 34 carries. Mike Davis led with 82 yards on 18 carries.

Shaq Roland, Damiere Bryd and Nick Jones each provided a receiving touchdown. Pharaoh Cooper led in receiving yards with 114 yards on ten catches.

Vanderbilt quarterback Wade Freebeck threw for 168 yards and a touchdown on 11-of-20 passing, entering late for an injured Patton Robinette. Robinette threw for 55 yards and a touchdown on 4-of-5 passing, before suffering a concussion in the first quarter.

Darrius Sims totaled 217 yards and two touchdowns on four kickoff returns. His longest was a 100-yard score in the third quarter.
