SMU’s offensive line allowed eight sacks to the Aggies and the worst offense in the FBS entering the game put up just 241 yards.
Quarterback Kenny Hill threw his first career interception for A&M, but the Aggies scored on 10 of 12 offensive possessions. Malcome Kennedy and Boone Niederhofer each caught seven passes, while Trey Williams, James White and Tra Carson each had six or seven carries.
Overall, five players combined to score seven Aggies touchdowns, while Josh Lambo drilled all three of his field goal attempts.
Southern Methodist, which has scored one offensive touchdown through three games, made two of three field goal attempts in the loss.
