2014 Tennessee vs Oklahoma

The Tennessee Volunteers suffered their first road loss of the 2014 season in a 34-10 blowout at No. 4 Oklahoma. The Sooners held a 454-313 advantage in total yards and outscored the Vols in each quarter.

Trevor Knight threw for 308 yards, a touchdown and an interception on 20-of-33 passing. He connected with No. 1 wide receiver Sterling Shepard five times for 109 yards.

Running back Keith Ford recorded 91 total yards (56 rushing, 35 receiving) and found the end zone twice. Ford scored Oklahoma’s first touchdown on a 23-yard reception in the first quarter and later on an 11-yard run in the second.

Justin Worley threw for 201 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions on 21-of-44 passing. Worley’s only touchdown came in the second quarter on a 40-yard pass to Josh Smith. Smith had five catches for 58 yards, while No. 1 target Marquez North led with 67 yards and six catches.

Jalen Hurd saw another impressive performance in just his third game. Hurd rushed for 97 yards on 14 attempts, averaging 6.9 yards per carry. He added another 24 receiving yards on two catches.
