2014 Troy vs Georgia
It was a long day for the Troy Trojans, who received a $900K payday to make the trip to Athens.
Georgia ran away with the game, amassing 547 yards of total offense in the 66-0 stomping. The Bulldogs 66 points were the most it has tallied since Mark Richt arrived between the hedges.
Todd Gurley played just one series, but he made it count. He rushed for 73 yards on six carries and on a 48-yard run in the first quarter, he passed Knowshon Moreno for fourth on the all-time career rushing list at Georgia. For the rest of the game, it was all Sony Michel who had easily the best performance of his brief career at Georgia. Michel rushed for 155 yards on 10 carries and three scores.
Senior quarterback Hutson Mason was 8-of-11 for 97 yards and a two touchdowns. He did not play as the game progressed into the third quarter.
