2014 Georgia vs Florida

The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party gave us another great year of football between bitter rivals.

It was initially thought to be the final nail in Will Muschamp’s coffin, but the Florida Gators played tough, inspired football en rout to a stunning 38-20 upset of the No. 11 ranked Georgia Bulldogs.

Although new starting quarterback and true freshman Treon Harris was a non-factor, the Gators relied heavily on their two running backs Kelvin Taylor and Matt Jones. Together, they combined for 389 yards and four touchdowns.

Georgia running back Nick Chubb had another incredible game, racking up 215 total yards and two touchdowns. Despite Chubb’s huge performance, Georgia was unable to get much else going in the game and the Gators’ defense made big plays when they needed  it the most.

Florida’s 38-20 win over Georgia was Muschamp’s first win over UGA as Florida’s head coach and the Gators’ first win since defeating Tennessee on Oct. 4.
