2014 Vanderbilt vs Georgia

The Georgia Bulldogs (4-1) defeated the Vanderbilt Commodores (1-5) 44-17 in Week 6 at Sanford Stadium. The Bulldogs extended their winning streak to three consecutive games. The Commodores have lost three straight since their Week 3 win over UMass.

Todd Gurley led the Bulldogs with 163 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries. The junior tailback added a 50 yard pass to Jeb Blazevich in the second quarter. Blazevich led Georgia with 86 yards and three receptions, while Chris Conley added 49 yards and two touchdowns.

The Commodores started true freshman Wade Freebeck in place of injured quarterback Patton Robinette. Freebeck threw for 100 yards on 9-of-18 passing before being replace by backup Stephen Rivers. Rivers threw for 88 yards and an interception on 7-of-13 passing.

Tailback Ralph Webb rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. Teammate Jerron Seymour added 41 yards on nine carries.
