Kirby Smart: Rochester and Clay to be punished 'at the appropriate time'
Georgia head coach Kirby Smart spoke with the media on Monday as his team spring game this Saturday edges closer.
Here are some of the highlights from the press conference, starting with his thoughts on the arrests of early enrollees DT Julian Rochester and CB Chad Clay.
He also gave an update on sophomore defensive tackle DaQuan Hawkins, who’s been dealing with a knee injury.

Smart also made it clear that the Bulldogs are still in pursuit of 2016 five-star receiver Demetris Robertson.

Smart was asked about the expectations surrounding QB Jacob Eason in this Saturday’s spring game, and where his quarterbacks currently stand.

Sophomore WR Shaquery Wilson will be moving to running back because of the 6-foot-1, 190-pounder’s size.

As for the top-rated athlete in the Class of 2016, Mecole Hardman, there’s been a lot of speculation as to where he might play.
