The U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio is one of the best barometers for the top high school prospects in the country, as they compete against one another in this all-star showcase of sorts.

It pits players from all across the nation in a week-long battle to see who is truly justified with their respective recruiting rankings.

According to a report from Rivals.com, the crop of Georgia commitments (QB Jake Fromm, OL Andrew Thomas, DB Richard LeCounte, and LB Nate McBride) have all been exceptional throughout the practice periods.

Fromm is an in-state 4-star prospect. Possessing a big arm and above-average athleticism, he wasn’t scared off by the fact Georgia started a true freshman QB this past year in Jacob Eason. Based upon these practice reports, he will likely be pushing Eason next year for playing time:

Quarterback Jake Fromm has consistently stood out as the best quarterback on either squad, and Thursday may have been his best performance. The Rivals100 signal caller was on-point, making throws that really made you stand up and take notice.

LeCounte is a fantastic all-around athlete — having the ability to play on either side of the ball. Based upon this clip, physicality will certainly not be a problem:

Credit Fromm for sticking with his commitment. With an elite prospect one year ahead, many in his shoes would opt to move on to another program.

Some kudos are also in order for head coach Kirby Smart and his staff. With Eason and Fromm, the quarterback position looks to be in great hands for the foreseeable future.
