Report: UGA hires Marshall tight ends coach Todd Hartley
Mark Richt and the Georgia Bulldogs are finished completing their staff for 2015.
According to FootballScoop and The Daily Mail, , UGA is bringing in Marshall tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator Todd Hartley to fill a role on next year’s coaching staff.
In that tweet, I mistakenly typed WVU. Hartley is most definitely coming from Marshall. My apologies http://t.co/sNnVtz3C1h

Re: Georgia, Hartley is a young recruiter from the state. Sounds like a good fit for personnel role http://t.co/sNnVtz3C1h (h/t @derekredd)

In the report, FootballScoop doesn’t address exactly which position Hartley will be taking on the staff, but speculates that Hartley’s resume would make him a good fit for UGA’s director of player personnel role, a position the Bulldogs are looking to fill.
This won’t be Hartley’s first time at Georgia, either. According to his bio on Marshall’s athletic website, Hartley obtained a B.S. in Health and Physical Education from Georgia in 2008. He served as a defensive grad assistant for a season and was the interim defensive backs coach for the ‘Dawgs in the 2009 Independence Bowl.
