The Georgia Bulldogs have two prospects expected to be picked in either the first or second round of this year’s NFL Draft.

Rangy speed rusher Leonard Floyd is expected to be a first-round pick, while defensive end and outside linebacker Jordan Jenkins will probably be a second-round pick. Wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell, running back Keith Marshall and offensive tackle John Theus, among others, are expected to go in the latter rounds Saturday.

New head coach Kirby Smart tweeted out a hype video ahead of Thursday night’s first round, “The Stage is Ours:”

As we look around the NFL and, specifically, the draft, obtaining talent at Georgia has never been a problem. It’s the top SEC state for prospects and an ever-increasing hotbed for the best prospects in the country. However, what Smart will try and do in the coming years is take that elite talent and develop it while it’s on campus in Athens to ultimately win a championship.

It will be interesting to see where the Bulldogs’ top pro prospect Floyd will get picked and how big of an impact he’ll make at the next level.
