UGA rises in top 10 in both Coaches, AP polls

In a mere tune up game against Charleston Southern, the Georgia Bulldogs took care of business, soundly defeating the Buccaneers 55-9.

Thanks to the big victory and some losses ahead of them in the polls, the ‘Dawgs climbed up both polls within the top-10.

In the Amway Coaches Poll, Georgia heads into the final week of the regular season at the No. 9 spot, behind a pair of Big 10 teams — Ohio State and Michigan State.

The Associated Press Top 25 had similar feelings regarding UGA, rising up to the No. 8 ranking.

Georgia is the highest-ranked two-loss team in the AP Top 25 and one of six ranked SEC teams.
