Perhaps the biggest question surrounding Week 1 for the Georgia Bulldogs is the availability of star running back Nick Chubb.

Rehabbing relentlessly back from the severe knee injury suffered against Tennessee in 2015, Chubb has made it a goal to feature in the season opener against North Carolina on Sep. 3.

Featuring on ESPN’s SEC Network, Atlanta Journal Constitution writer Seth Emerson spoke about Chubb — as well as fellow running backs Sony Michel and stud true freshman Elijah Holyfield.

Emerson is confident Chubb will not only play, but start for the Bulldogs. He’s also very bullish on the future of Holyfield. With a deep backfield and questions surrounding the quarterback position, it’s very feasible to believe Georgia’s level of success will be determined by this three-pronged rushing attack.
