It looks like the squat is one of Georgia’s biggest weapons when it comes to preparation.

The Bulldogs are having a great year in Kirby Smart’s second season in Athens. Georgia is up to No. 7 and has excelled on offense thanks to a strong running game.

One thing that Smart sought to build when he came to Georgia was an impressive strength and conditioning program. To do so, the university hired Scott Sinclair as the Strength and Conditioning Director of the Bulldogs.

CBS Sports did a recent feature on Sinclair’s work with the ‘Dawgs, and he indicated that he features the squat movement extensively in his workouts. Sinclair indicated he utilizes all forms of the workout and particularly likes to put the team through squats on Sunday’s after a game.

“I like to squat them heavy,” said Sinclair as he provided a brief look into what drives the Bulldogs.

Here is a look at the video that CBS Sports shared on Twitter:

Whatever Sinclair is doing, the results are showing as the Bulldogs feature two of the league’s best rushers in Sony Michel and Nick Chubb.
