One of Kentucky’s prized recruits from this past recruiting cycle has reportedly suffered a knee injury.

Nik Scalzo, who was featured in the recently released Netflix series, “QB1: Beyond the Lights,” suffered a knee injury in a scrimmage on Saturday. But the severity was yet to be determined.

“I’m a little bit concerned about Nik Scalzo,” coach Mark Stoops said following the scrimmage, according to video posted by Jeff Drummond. “We’ve got to look at how he is, outside of that we’re pretty healthy and got a good physical day in.”

In the third season of the Netflix show, Scalzo is featured alongside Oklahoma quarterback Spencer Rattler and Maryland quarterback Lance Legendre.

Scalzo is a freshman from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and was a consensus 3-star prospect, and one of the top 10 quarterbacks in Florida. He’s listed at 6 feet and 175 pounds.
