This was supposed to be the year for Kentucky.

Head coach Mark Stoops has restocked the program — primarily with recruits from both Ohio and Florida. The baby Wildcats of the past few years are now upperclassmen. In essence, everything set up for UK to make a bowl game in 2016.

Through the first three games of the season, it doesn’t appear as if reaching postseason play is a given. Sitting at 1-2, Kentucky’s offense has been wildly inconsistent. The defense has also allowed at least 40 points in every game thus far this year. These trends certainly don’t equal a recipe for success.

With the hot-set near scorching, one set of fans are attempting to support Stoops in an artistic and melodic way. Austin’s Rose — a country band — came out with this song entitled ‘I still believe in Stoops.’

There’s no question the music group knows their football. Who knows…maybe this tune will become a staple within the Kentucky locker room en route to a bowl appearance.
