Which team produced the most NFL draft selections in the last decade?

If you answered Alabama, you’re wrong. The Crimson Tide (53 picks) are third in that answer behind LSU (63) and Georgia (56).

Where Bama has excelled is in placing players in the first round, with 30.2 percent of its draft picks coming off the board in the first day. In contrast, just 12.5 percent of UGA’s drafted players get selected before pick No. 33 overall.

Kentucky is the only SEC team without a first-round selection in the last 10 years. DT Dewayne Robertson (No. 4 overall in 2003) is the last Wildcats player drafted that early, but Thursday night, DE/OLB Bud Dupree has a chance to break that drought.

Here are the number of total draft picks and first-round selections from each SEC school in the last 10 years, along with a link to the full list of names.
