South Carolina won’t be the talk of this week’s draft with the top overall selection like last season, but the Gamecocks are expecting to have multiple players drafted for the seventh straight season.

Multi-year All-American guard A.J. Cann is the team’s highest-ranked prospect, a potential second-round pick by a team needing a top-notch interior lineman. The Gamecocks’ first player off the board will be Steve Spurrier’s 100th career draft pick, the most among active SEC head coaches.

Offensive tackle Corey Robinson, running Mike Davis, tight end Rory Anderson, wide receiver Damiere Byrd and quarterback Dylan Thompson are among a group of 15 other Gamecocks hoping to get the call.
