Kentucky’s season has been filled with adversity, so the Wildcats are expecting one more dose of it against rival Louisville on Saturday at Kroger Field.

UK has largely exceeded expectations this season, especially if you factor in the multiple injuries at quarterback, and how Lynn Bowden has developed into one of the more versatile players in the country.

Bowden has drawn comparisons to former UK star Randall Cobb, who starred under former coach Rich Brooks, and was featured in this week’s hype video.

“Tonight we’re just going out and playing with our heart,” Cobb said in a pregame speech when he was with UK. “That’s it. Everything we put in is for these 12 opportunities. All we’ve got to do is play for each other now, brotherhood. Every last one of y’all.”

Brooks, in his own pregame speech, called it “60 minutes of hitting them in the mouth. They aren’t going to give you a damn thing, you have to go out and take it away from them.

The Cats hope to “attack every single play” in order to own the Commonwealth for the next 365 days.

The narrator continued by saying, “it’s what being a Wildcat is all about. It’s time to finish.”
