LSU wide receiver Travin Dural is out for the season after tearing his right hamstring during the Tigers’ 38-17 loss to Ole Miss last Saturday.

Dural will have surgery this week, and should be out 3-4 months, according to The Daily Reveille.

The junior wide receiver was injured while trying to make a leaping grab in the end zone. When he came down, he landed awkwardly, and tore his hamstring. He left the game and did not return.

Dural is LSU’s second-leading receiver. He has caught 28 passes for 533 yards and three touchdowns this season. While he won’t be playing on Saturday, Dural has confidence in his team.

The Tigers (7-3) close out the regular season against Texas A&M (8-3) on Saturday in Baton Rouge, La. The game will be shown on the SEC Network.
